Rafael Benitez denies fighting with his players

Press conference and training session hosted by Chelsea at London's Stamford Bridge - April 25, 2007

Chelsea interim manager,Rafael Benitez, has denied rumours that there was an in-fighting at the club, following the 2-0 loss on Sunday to Manchester City.
There were rumours  that some senior players at Chelsea, fell out with Benitez after the game at the Etihad, almost coming to fist-cuffs over the the manager’s decision in the game.
Chelsea skipper,John Terry, who was benched for the game, was believed to have led the revolt, but Benitez quashed such claims, saying that it was nothing more than normal deliberations.
“This was a normal meeting between players and technical staff, which happens after every game, it was normal talk, nothing else. You show your disappointment, that is normal,” Benitez said.
“I can understand the frustrations of Terry, he is an important player for us and has been injured with his knee,” he said.
“It was very brief exchange of ideas, and that is it, nothing else. It is just a team talk after a defeat,” Benitez added.
“We had a meeting on the pitch with my players and technical staff, which is part of our business.”
“Now we have to move on and start thinking about Middlesbrough.”
Chelsea will travel to the riverside stadium, for their postponed game against Middlesbrough, for an opportunity to play against Manchester United in the quarter-finals of the  FA Cup.
“They are a good group of players, working hard and keen to learn. They were disappointed like me with the defeat, but that’s it,” he said.
“(We want to finish in the) top three, it is really important for us but, being a top side, we have to try and win every game,” Benitez added.
So what is this with senior players and coaches at Chelsea?
